We could all do with a little more kindness, starting with ourselves!

During the recent global challenges, there were signs of an increase in consideration, kindness and community spirit.   Challenging times can be an opportunity to reflect and discover the best in ourselves and each other.  It can also push us to, or beyond, our limits!

To emerge and sustain the more gentle qualities like kindness, there first needs to be kindness for myself.  It's not always easy though,  our 'self-talk' revealing that we're often hard on ourselves.

At Onepoint Oneness this week, we are delighted to be welcoming Dr Sarah Eagger to discuss and lead us with insights and a guided meditation on the topic of 'Being kind to myself.'

Dr Sarah Eagger (MBBS; FRCPsych) works as a consultant Psychiatrist in London. She is past chair of the Spirituality Special Interest Group of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, the National Spirituality and Mental Health Forum and the British Holistic Medical Association.

Sarah is the current chair of the Janki Foundation, a UK based charity that promotes spirituality in healthcare. She is a keen advocate of a values-based approach to healthcare - one that embraces peace, love, positivity and compassion for the benefit of oneself and others.

Sarah is a trained mindful self-compassion teacher and has been practising Raj Yoga meditation for over 40 years.

We look forward to welcoming you to the live session 9:00 am (UK time) on Friday 24th July
