With organisations and individuals looking more and more to Agile, Lean, and Design Thinking, empathy plays a big part in these approaches.

With the current Covid-19 pandemic, where we live in uncertain times, fear and anxiety are on the rise, it's important to have empathy towards individuals and organisations as a whole instead of being judgemental and critical.

We need to apply some of the key principles of Design Thinking including empathy and understand the complex end-user experience people are going through.

A gesture of altruistic support and compassion can make a difference in influencing people in a positive way and have an impact on organisations and society.

Because of social distancing, people make less physical contact than ever before, and encouraging words and a smile through the different communication channels at our disposal can have a positive impact now and help us create a more compassionate approach in all our personal and business dealings.
